Correct. The Dell does not support covers and wake from sleep.
The folio case and the keyboard cases from Dell are very similar. The difference, really, is that the keybaord case has a little nicer build, and has room for the keybaord inside, plus magnets to "secure" (it's not that secure) the keybaord inside.

Actually, the keyboard fits on the outside of the keyboard case, lightly held there by magnets (this really is just a convenience, not something to be relied on in a backpack or similarly). Also, the easel portion of the 2 cases is a bit different (you can check that out in the pictures).

    Hey guys!

Do you prefer a bluetooth keyboard/mouse or a wireless USB one ?

Which is more reliable and has less delay? Which one is more power hungry?

Also between the IVSO and the Fintie, which one has the strongest magnet?

    Thanks

Bluetooth, if you have the option. You only have one USB, you don't want to use it on a dongle hanging out of your tablet. You can connect many Bt devices at once, so Bt mouse, keyboard and even headphones are no issue, and you can still use the USB for a display adapter or for charging.

Bluetooth is going to use more power from the V8P. I rarely use a keyboard/mouse. When I need this functionality I use this,

In my humblest opinion, nothing beats BT for the DV8P: due to its limited port, and no dongle to be concerned about. At least, when using in a portable fashion.

And so, what was the modification? Not sure I can tell.

Has anyone found a connector (powered or otherwise) that will allow VGA out? I would need 2 hours on time. It would be nice to connect to a projector for a presentation if desktop isn't working properly. Thanks for your suggestions.

Torn about a case. I want to protect my tech but the naked tablet fits nicely in the pocket if my jeans. I'm afraid any kind of case would make pocket carry impossible.

Anybody try one of those cheapo 128 gb micro sd-ft cards? Some are under $30
