@Lonsarg: Ordered a 64GB version with Stylus + folio. Stylus + Folio are shipped (at least the shop states it so), but I dont know when my tablet will arrive (Austria - MTX-computer shop)...

When i look at the dell.co.uk page, the 64gb version can be shipped immediately, but for the 32gb version, you have to wait.. So hopefully my tablet will arrive before christmas!

Hi I'm a new owner of the Venue 8 Pro 32GB and have recently purchased a Micro SD card trying to free up space through the recovery partition.

I tried to insert the Micro SD card into the port, while the card is recognized by Windows, I am unable to select it as the drive to create the recovery drive.

I noticed people have been using USB OTG adapter to create the recovery drive, are we not able to create recovery drive to free up space using the on-device Micro SD port?

Is upgrading the internal drive simply not possible with this device?

64gb standard sandisk - would it be better to format it in ex-fat or NTFS?

I use gmail and chrome a lot with my desktop. When I used Chrome or to check my gmail account using Chrome with my DV8P, the response was so slow that it felt like the tablet was frozen. Does anyone have any suggestion. Thanks.

I don't have that problem with Gmail, but I do use the dev channel version of Chrome.

Only reason why I picked NTFS is because it defaults to 4k blocks instead of something crazy like 128kb on the 64gb card. If you have lot of small files, that's a big waste of space.

Can we make a new thread with a more useful OP. Like when new owners come in they would know that the DVP8 doesn't charge at high 90s. What's the latest FW, drivers, etc. Weird things like that.
