    Ha ha! So true.

I couldn't place what it reminded me of.

I had a lot of good experiences in the 80's with computers, so that might be why I instantly felt an irrational surge of affection for this device despite my thinking, "AES or MPP? Ugh. Why? WHY?"

Flashback to some more interesting tidbits about Triton 900...

When folded down, the easel arms do not block the vents, meaning no gimped performance in tablet mode! (nice one, Acer )

And another neat thing is the rotating USB port, that allows for a stowable connection dongle:

I could see this being totally useful for art controller dongles and the like!

But of course, the big question remains, is the touchscreen AES?

For those interested, you may want to keep tabs on the official Acer thread, where two people have already posed similar burning questions to the official rep.

...Surface Studio? A940? Step aside. There's a new king in town. (Assuming he carries a pen :vbtongue:)

I'm beginning to wonder if Samsung and Wacom have an unholy alliance to halt the spread of EMR?

Purely speculative on my part.........but I did think it was kind of interesting that for the Zbook X2 HP used EMR.......and....then for the Zbook Studio/(Yoga).....they switched over to AES

I'm beginning to fear that using the pen is such a tiny niche that it doesn't matter except for the profit margin on the pen, which ha to be higher on N-Trig/AES than EMR.

lg gram 2 in 1, anybody??

very nice lightweight (1,1 kg) 14''. Could rival samsung notebook 9 pro/pen with its better specs: up to 16gb of ram, 8th gen intel and also a 72 Wh battery!! But unfortunately.... aes 2.0

    (specs at 2:38)

    apparently 1500 dollars for the 16gb ram, 512gb ssd (sata 3), i7-8565U.
