    https://samsung.hdblog.it/2019/01/08/samsung-notebook-9-pro-flash-ces-2019/

apparently in the video it is said (1:14 "you can as well use the s-pen from the note 9 or other note devices") that the notebook 9 pro can use the S-pen of the note 9, so apparently it is wacom emr? Maybe the batteries are only for the tilt and other bluetooth functionalities?

In another video it seemed that there was hovering, another emr feat... Finger crossed!

I'm leaning toward "Error in reporting" but this is definitely on my "Find out more!" list..!

    Seems we have a new entrant into the 15" 4K OLED + Wacom AES 2.0 camp—the Yoga C730 2-in-1:

    (more pics from TrustedReviews)
    [IMG] [IMG]

    Specs (official PDF):
    • Whiskey Lake 8th Gen Core i7
    • up to 16GB DDR4 memory
    • 512 GB PCIe SSD
    • 802.11ac Wi-Fi + Bluetooth,
    • Thunderbolt 3 port
    • two USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C
    • HDMI display output
    • 3.5-mm TRRS audio jack
    • JBL-badged speakers
    • fingerprint reader
    • 720p webcam
    and of course...
    • Lenovo Active Pen 2 support (though not included in box)
Unlike the Spectre 15 preview, we even have a price:

"...available starting March or April at an MSRP of $1,649"

Very reasonable I must say, considering the specs and solid construction from the pics.

Well done, Lenovo! (now just give me a ThinkPad version with Trackpoint :p)

Unfortunate yes, but I suspect your eye (and mine :p) is still on HP's version with its more powerful internals, yes? ;)

I mean as good as Lenovo is, HP just offered such incredible value on last year's 15" Spectre:

    (PCWorld)
"A high-end version of the Spectre x360 15 will be available with six-core Coffee Lake-H chips, plus an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050Ti GPU, with a starting price of $1,600"

That's hexa-core and discrete GPU for less than $1650. I suspect the new HP will simply be unbeatable in terms of price-to-performance ratio when it launches.

Oh, absolutely. My eye is on a possible HP Spectre x360 15 refresh with 4k OLED and a 2050Ti Max-Q this April.

I mentioned the non-US availability for the sake of others in the US who might get their hopes up about the Yoga C730.

We all know that March or April in Lenovospeak is October or November.

But yeah, those are very enticing specs. So at least an indication that we'll see more emulators of this.
