Screen is blank, and the green power light and orange charge light are stuck on. (even with the no AC adapter plugged in).

Tried holding the power button, but nothing happens. Is there something else I can try?

Try to hold down a combination of the power button and home or volume down for 30 seconds while plugged in?

OK, tried that with all other button combinations and nothing happened.

I guess I'm going to let the battery drain, recharge, and hope it turns on.

The left side back is slightly warm, so it's definitely on, I guess.

@Edwood Got this recommendation from another VAIO Z owner on Twitter: "press and hold the F3 or F4 key and the power button to boot to bios and safe mode."

Below the kickstand is a little hole for resetting the Canvas.

    It lives!

Letting the battery drain all the way worked.

So I guess the Z Canvas does not like having it's battery drained all the way. It freaked out when I tried turning it on with the AC adapter just being plugged in. I guess I have to wait a few minutes next time.

Better yet, I need to figure out how to get this Z Canvas to not self drain so much power when it's completely off.

Haha, thanks. I missed that. I'll try that next time.

    Hi everyone.
Experiencing something similar here. Yesterday my Vaio Z Canvas was plugged in and I suddenly noticed that it wasn't charging anymore.
As how it was suggested by the manual on the official vaio website, I drained the power, hoping that once I emptied the batterie it would go back to normal.
Unfortunately it didn't, the adapter's green LED looks normal while it isn't plugged into my Vaio but is flickering as soon as I do so.
I hope that someone has an Idea how I could bring it back to life.
    Any advice is greatly appreciated! ^^;

...Sounds like it might be a bad AC adapter. Is there any way that you could try a different one (perhaps at a local computer store) or have your existing one measured (to see if it is producing the correct voltage)?

Alternatively, try pressing the reset button (without the AC adapter connected) as mentioned in Post #6 by stormi
