You didn't hear me complain about the 10% price cut to $1899, but nearly 60% off?

I sincerely hope it isn't a harbinger for VAIO's fate in the US market.

They haven't even finished rolling out the rest of the Z series. I vote they're just clearing stock for 5th (or 6th) gen Intel CPUs.

Incredible price drop. Is this an error? The only time I see such a massive price drop was clearing out inventory to pull out of the business / market. (eg Canon M1 cameras) Even when brands are prepping for the next gen, prices only go down 10-20%

Had to hop on here and see what you guys were saying after seeing the ridiculous drop in price.

Is it a no brainer at this point? What's the battery life you all are getting now doing light day-to-day computing?

Wow - definitely makes me feel a little burned having spent over twice as much just 4 months ago...on the other hand, it also makes me consider picking up a second one. I do love it and have enough juice to do intense editing on cross national flights. I havent put a timer on it, but i seem to get several hours battery with the fans on full.

Can't comment on battery life, but if you crave power and don't mind N-Trig's limitations, the Z Canvas is a no-brainer absolutely.
