I've used this power supply for my canvas and the last two generations of sony z's - it's tiny! http://amzn.to/1MdirXM

I'm a prettty heavy user, and I've got it set to performance mode. Realistically, even my web browsing kills battery life O:)

Of course, I don't need this machine, but I bought a used 256/8. Will be here Tuesday.

Hope I don't hate the battery.

Who else has the 256/8 model? Do you ever wish you got the 512/16? Or those of you with 16GB wish you would've saved the money and got the 8GB?

I do realize the SSD is faster in the 512/16.

<<...I do realize the SSD is faster in the 512/16...>>

...I bought the 256 GB / 16 GB model specifically to get the faster SSD architecture.

However, I suspect that you will find your 256 GB / 8 GB model very satisfactory, especially as compared to the other currently available tablets, including SP3, SP4 and the Yogas...

Yea, well I hopped on eBay last night and found a 512/16 that someone listed without Z Canvas in the title (Listed as Vaio i7 computer) for less than the 256/8 that I purchased. I could tell it was a Z Canvas right away though. You all know what happened next.

Issues man, issues. I get the 256/8 tomorrow which I'll put through its paces and then resell. I'll take a little hit on it if I have to because I got the 512/16 for less.

My 256/8 got delayed, so it will be delivered tomorrow.

I have not yet paid for the 512/16, because I want to get your opinions. When I contacted the seller, he said he purchased the device 6 months ago, meaning it's still within the warranty period. According to the Vaio warranty documents, the standard warranty is transferable if the new owner has a copy of the original purchase receipt. It explicitly says that auction confirmations do not count.

The seller refuses to provide me with it, first saying he doesn't have it (please) and then saying he doesn't want to go through the hassle of getting it. Really? You purchase a super expensive machine and you don't save any paperwork?

It is a good price, and it is coming from eBay so I would be protected for a little bit, but what would you guys do? I could add on a SquareTrade warranty. I seriously buy used all the time and don't really stress about this stuff, but it's an expensive machine, and the seller is honestly being somewhat shady about it all.
