When I look for button control, I get this message: 'Tablet buttons are not installed on this computer'. Also, the top right button, instead of turning the touch function on and off, it just brings up a bluew transparent square. Can anyone tell me what is happening?

Hey Christo, welcome to the forums!

If you are working from a fresh install, you to install the drivers in this order:

    1. Intel (R) Chipset Driver
    2. VFEP Driver
    3. VAIO Shared Library
    4. VAIO Control Center
    5. VAIO Button Control

for the button functions to work.

Hello Marty. Thanks for the welcome :)

    Unfortunately this process didn't work.
    1. I downloaded all the files
    2. Uninstalled 'Control Center' and 'Button Control' (the others don't have to be unistalled according to the website)
    3. Installed everything and rebooted.

I keep getting this menu with the blue box when I press the right top button Capture.PNG :

Do you think this is a windows or a tablet issue?

Oh, that's actually proper behavior. That blue box is called the VAIO Pencil Board, and it let's selectively block a region from touch.

It's a feature that so far, only VAIO has implemented and is extremely useful for art. You can customize the appearance and size of the region by clicking the yellow gear and dragging the lower right sizing handle.

If you want to disable it here are the instructions courtesy of @Steve S:

    Unbelievable..
. Here I was, thinking I broke the thing on the first day. I was trying to program the pen buttons to work as 'right click' when using photoshop and ended up with a blue rectangle... Thank you, Marty :)

I know this is an old thread, but I actually have a question about the clean install. Not sure if you have installed the drivers at this point, probably did, but did the keyboard and pen still work, were there options to customize things such as scroll direction of trackpad and pen buttons?
