Just as the title says, the cursor on my Vaio Z Canvas defaults to the top right corner of the screen. It has been happening for a while now, and it hampers my ability to draw anything on this tablet.

Is this a device w/ a TrackPoint? If so, power down, pull the cap, wiggle the stick around (vacuum the keyboard carefully), then power up, then reinstall the cap.

Sounds like the pen/digitizer issue that I've been trying debug for a while now.

I posted my theories and solutions here, but many people report that they still get the issue even after all those steps.

Let me know if the steps work for you.

If you even looked at a Z Canvas you wouldn't have responded to this thread with your original comment. He was just being nice about it.

I think @WillAdams was thinking the OP might be using a Bluetooth TrackPoint keyboard with the Z Canvas. I have one myself, and it actually serves as a pretty decent travel keyboard alternative to VAIO's.

I also have experienced the cursor drift he is talking about, where the trackpoint will automatically move the cursor towards a corner on wake up.

So it's an understandable confusion (and a good tip he gave too) :)
