vital signs of an incoming Canvas 2 Launch!!
Let's wait for the dust to settle. When cannon lake appears and thunderbolt 3 ports become closer to the norm. Hmm...? I can always connect up a bigger touch screen if needing more real estate.
The thing is vaioZcanvas was such a game changer it can wait a while for others to catch up before it morphs into the next version.
Ok, time for another "Marty special" Z Canvas trivia update:
Interestingly, VAIO US published series of videos featuring an animator's use case:
Also interestingly, I found out there are 3rd party accessories made especially for VAIO products by company called Satouchi.
In particular: there is the PORTERオリジナルケース・CC-PTR4N9/CS made for the Z Canvas:
Here's a Japanese review:
He likes the new zippers, they fold down and street there so they aren't caught on anything and accidently open. But $110 for a bag?
Can I use that line on her, when she says she wants one of these?
Huge difference between neoprene and leather, nice try though.
I may get in trouble for pointing this out, but actually the exterior of most durable backpack/messenger style bags are made of nylon, which is different from neoprene.
For the Z Canvas bag, Porter supposedly developed a special kind of nylon-backed fiber called "X-C1000" which is super light, but also super durable.
So the material ain't that bad actually, just sayin'...
From your perspective and sensibilities, wouldn't you be tempted at all by the utility of the bag?
Look it's even got spot for your eReader/Encore Write 2/mini-tablet of season!
With quick access, too:
And the all-around zipper design means the tablet(s) can be accessed from the top and the side:
So this would work inside a briefcase or backpack. I could see this being super useful for tight spots on the train.
Seems like good purchase for $110 right, uh honey?
The bag is great at $39.95.
