vaio canvas 2nd edition

    Anyone heard any news about vaio releasing a new version of the canvas, I sure would like to see an updated version with new processor and backlit KB!

    ...Nothing that I am aware of, but it's more likely that our members in Japan are better positioned to pick up on any rumors.

    In addition, I wouldn't expect to hear anything until the KabyLake H-class processors are available. IIRC, that's not until early next year???

    aww, thats awhile away, what do you personally think are the chances we see an updated vaio z canvas with maybee backlit kb?
    I liked lenovo for awhile untill I realized I Really really need the extra processing power

    Based on this, if a refresh happens, it'll be mid-to-late Spring '17.

    Maybe we should just send a letter to VAIO?

    If they say something like "coming soon" then we could reasonably hope for a refresh by Q2 of next year.

    But then again considering how much they hyped up the release of first Canvas, I think we should have at least seen some sort of promotion campaign by now... (tear)

    Too be honest, Vaio is going through restructuring of management at the moment. I fear that zaps the company of energy.
