I sometime uses a Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 as a big-screen phone on days when I know my Note 5's screen & (Edit: Watchphone) is too small for work productivity & tasks. Not pocketable at all hence why a Note version of the Fold is very appealing to me.

Samsung introducing the Fold has me thinking if the company would introduce a Note variant this year, hopefully in their August/September Note 10 event. I'm ready.

You have the Wi-Fi variant? Personally, all my Notes needs to be cellular-enabled. I have has over the years:

    Phones:

    • Galaxy Note 1
    • Galaxy Note 2
    • Galaxy Note 3
    • Galaxy Note 5
    Tablets:
    • Galaxy Note 10.1 (2012)
    • Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014)
    • Galaxy Note 8.0
    • Tab A S Pen 8"
    • Tab A S Pen 10.1
That's a lot of dollars.... :) Weird thing is I have never spent a cent on PC (all work-provided)

This is the full package for my daily carry of the Note 10.1 if I am spending whole day out of office:

After posting I realized that it is the 2012 version I have. Don't think they came SIM enabled then.
But I've always been curious about the possibility to tether it to a phone and have a phone app on the tablet and do my calls on a BT mic/in-ear combo like som 90's douchebag.

Oh, and before someone points out that I can do those phone calls on the phone, the reason for the setup would be to have some sort of Outlook app where I could write notes while talking and then have it transfer handwriting to digital searchable text. The big screen would be so much better for those kind of notes, and when you need to look up something else fast you can use the multi-windows feature.

    Edit:

I used to do this before, but people are nosy and I always get too conscious about people reading my private texts coz the screen is just so darn huge. LOL
