    Hi all,

I'm back to thinking about the lovely older T's again. Is it any problem installing Win 7 on any of these machines via a usb or network boot? I looked in the manuals and see you can set those boot devices in the bios, but I just wanted to confirm that I don't have to get a nasty old DVD drive.

    Thanks.

@dschad you can use USB stick for sure. There's an option for network boot, too. Actually, anything Core 2 Duo and newer boots from USB.

I installed Win7-x64 on a T5010 from a USB image, so can't imagine it wouldn't work on the newer machines.

Thank you both. I figured this was the case, but best to check.
