    Hi,

I'm planning to upgrade my motion le1700 - to Windows 7 with 64bit (now running Windows 7 with 32 bit) and: I would looove to get an Open GL graphic card...:D
Anyone tried to do this in the past - is it possible and how could I manage it?

    Daniela

I have the Core2Duo - 'd like to play with AfterEffects CS5 and this needs a 64bit system. The 64bit system could be a bit difficult, but is already proofed.

But what's about the open gl graphic card, is it possible - in any way - to run open gl drivers or to put an open gl card into the motion le1700???

I did some research and think its not possible to run cs5 on the 1700. Changing the gpu is nearly impossible and the onboard gma950 only supports OGL1.4 and adobe needs 2.0. So, narda running this piece of soft on your motion.

you're wrong, just aftereffects and premiere cs5 (needs 64bit) and one part of photoshop (the new 3D options which needs open gl) are not working, all other programms of the cs5 are working fine!
