    Hi

Does anyone have an ultraslim battery option for the 2710p that can tell me what happens to all the vents that are on the bottom if the unit. Presumably these will all get covered over by the battery, does this have an impact on heat generated and subsequent fan use. What about audio, does that get impeded by the battery?

    Many thanks

I don't have the utlraslim battery but I have the docking station which also covers the vents at the bottom and I've noticed that the fan runs as it more often when I have my 2710p docked.

I do have the Ultraslim battery. There are spacers that allow a small amount of airflow to the vents. Heat mostly is released thru the vent on the side of the unit. I have noticed there's slightly more heat coming from the side vent after a couple of hours with the Ultraslim on. I don't use sound, so I can't speak to the audio.
