Rumour is that VivoTab Note will have WACOM stylus. It's pretty much a non-decision if that happens to be the case...

Asus will have a lot of new machines for CES 2014 to take on Dell. And a direct competitor to the Venue 11 Pro too I'm sure.

what will be interesting to see - as a Wacom TabletPC owner - is how the pen will behave near the edges of the screen...
i hope (and seeing the thickness of the device I am a bit positive) that Asus placed a larger Wacom digitizer screen to avoid issues on edges...

Yep, if a digitizer is important the Asus is the clear choice over the Dell. At this point if I didn't already own one I would definitely be waiting for it and even then I could still eBay it and switch to the Asus. Will be interesting to see what else is announced, hopefully there will be alternatives to the 11 Pro as well.

According to the mobilegeeks leak, it has a 15whr battery. No thanks Asus.

I think it's been verified it does use a Wacom digitizer, and I wouldn't be surprised if it came with the pen. Would be cool if it had a place to store it.

but tradition Dell has better build quality…
If there is to be a direct competitor to 11 Pro from Asus, that would be a hard choice to make.

Yeah, that is one thing to worry about with ASUS. Their low cost tablets have really cheap quality and feel to them like the T100TA and ME400 for examples. And this $300 tablet with Wacom digitizer and possibly included pen makes me think there will be some severe quality cuts elsewhere.

I'm really impressed with the quality and feel of the Dell VP8 in my hand. I'm so happy Dell added that nice quality texture on the back.

I'm hoping though that ASUS or someone will come out with a higher quality 10 or 11 inch tablet with a Wacom digitizer, pen silo, Baytrail, and 4GB of RAM.

It was just a matter of time before an 8" Windows Wacom based device came out. I'm thinking the 8" Windows space is going to heat up assuming that these 8" devices seem to be doing well.
