Yes! Thank YOU! Pics make it 10x better, we appriciate it!

Any chances of modding it to swivel around 360 degrees (both ways)??

I'm very aware that this is an old thread, but THANK YOU for this awesome tutorial, my laptop is now as breathtaking as the day I bought it! :)

Do you think if I sent mine in to HP for repair they'd do this? Not sure if I want to risk doing it myself.

I've been using my old tx1030ea, which now belongs to my wife's aunt, while my tx2130ea was away for repair. I noticed the tx1030's screen was loose and I followed the help in this thread and can report that it's now as good as new :)

And my tx2130ea is back from repair and looks lke new - so I'm a happy bunny!

Sending your notebook to HP for repair will only take 7-9 business days, as per company procedure. But most of the time, it takes shorter, I had mine returned in just 3 days. And everything went fine!

BTW, whether your notebook is out-of-warranty or not, as long as it is covered by the limited warranty enhancement, HP will repair it at no cost to you, including shipping. :)

There is a limitation though. Send it back to HP as early as 2 years after you purchase it because the limited warranty enhancement also has expiration.

    Hope this helps. :)

Hey guys, want to try this as my hinge is loose, but I'm just worried about removing the bezel. I know there is most likely clip ons on the bezel, but I'm not exactly sure where those clip ons are. I do not want to break them, otherwise it'll become quite a problem.

Does anyone have the hptx2500 service manual (if it is any help) as HP is transitioning their documents to a different site, it is unaccessable. It would be helpful if you could post it here. Otherwise, can anyone tell me/show me exactly where each clip on on the bezel is, so I can be very careful doing this.

    Cheers
