Vista lists some Drivers updates available for my tx2500z.

Does anyone know if these drivers work better/worse/same?

Reason I ask is that on other computers I've installed updates from Drivers from windows update and it actually slowed down the system. (for example the nVidia video driver on my old TX1000z)

    These are the available updates:

I have installed all those updates and havent noticed an issues nor any benefits of those drivers. Pretty much the same.

i had an issue with the wlan driver, i'd avoid that one... it caused connection issues until I rolled back to the old driver.

Mine works fine and I usually connect to several wifi networks a day. What adapter is in your tx - the b/g card or the a/b/g/n card?

the a/b/g/n card... for some reason once i updated I kept having very sparadic connection issues that I never had before, and haven't had since... would consistently drop the connection. I usually go between around 3 networks a week, and might have been a fluke, but hasn't happened since I rolled back.

I have the b/g card. Maybe its specific to the a/b/g/n. Not surprised considering all the issues those seem to be afflicted by(sound stutter, BSOD etc).

I think I will update the drivers with the exception to the Wireless Adapter.

    Thanks for your feedback.
