I've had my TX2500 for almost a year now, and always, when the screen turns off because of inactivity, it became black. Recently however, it started turning white.

I'm wondering if this is a hardware or a software issue? And if this is hardware (which I suspect it is), what could have caused it.

If anyone had a similar issue, please tell me about it.
    Thank you.

Well unless it's setup to show a white background screensaver, I'd think it'd be hardware related too. Maybe the inverter that gives power to the light is staying on when the LCD turns off.
I'd send it to HP if it still has warranty left.
