It's the HP "Connecting Your World" event. From what I know, the event runs June 10-11.
Fair enough, I didn't know that. Thanks.
From the site there are lots of product showcases and "AMD breakout" sessions. You're probably right, it'll probably be announced then.
what do you think the chances are of this being released before July 20th? that is when I will be leaving and need the laptop.
My birthday is Wednesday and my parents said they may buy me the tx2000 but I don't wanna waste their money if a refresh is coming out soon.
Well, there is definitely a tx2500 coming out, a significant refresh, so don't. hmm, I wonder what this silhouette could be?
p.s. "which breakout session are you looking forward to most?" asks HP... I am forced to reply "HP: A touch different."
So are the majority of the people that answered that.
Ooooooh. I really doubt it has anything to do with the impending TX2500 though, which is a shame. Although I still find it kind of odd that HP have kept this so hushed. They haven't stopped people finding information, but they've not exactly helped either.
haha, they let you reset the poll, so a touch different has gone from second to last all the way up to a leading first with a nice macro prog... haha, break out your macro progs and lets have a poll war hahahahaha jk well kinda
Heh I did think that was a shade stupid of them, but hey, it's their website!
And it's not like it influences anything. Right....?
EDIT: Woah, now it's 66%. Nice stat-fiddling there mate
haha yeah well, I kinda wanna use my comp, so ill settle with 66%
It's a shame it doesn't tell you how many votes have been cast, you could tell exactly how many people you've just narked off.
That silhouette is intriguing though. As much of an improvement as Puma will be, it's hardly "high performance". Unless they're being loose with their words or they're not specifically talking about the machine in the image (Hmm, I also wonder what it could be. Not.).
