hmm, I was on the fence for an intel model, but perhaps a puma could cut it. Guess Ill have to wait and see how the other issue play out... A. battery life B. heat issue (gfx + cpu on single heatsink @ 190+F) C. ****ty screen grain. (wish they could just use capacitive screens, yeah I know, expensive...)

by the way, Wacom now has capacitive screen too, yay for multitouch, now to see if we can find some uses.

HP U.S. is faster than Canada in terms of releasing the goods. I remember the tx2000 didn't hit Canada until roughly 2 months after the initial release. Mind you, that was with regards to the online release. Our retail release was about the same as the American retail release... in fact I recall our Best Buy's had them in stock before the U.S. ones.

It's up on the UK site but we can't actually buy it yet, so you're not really missing much. You never know, the US site might start selling the thing before anywhere else.

Now, this is a little strange. Why would HP only give the Danes the 2.1Ghz processor compared to the UK 2.1 and 2.2Ghz, but give the Danes a 320GB HDD instead of the 160 or 250GB HDD the Brits are offered? All seems a bit random to me.

HP is having a major global event this week in Berlin. I expect announcements from that. The real question is retail availability thereafter.
