I have been using my laptop pretty regularly over the past few weeks, including alot of use with the touchscreen using my finger. As such, I have left a good number of finger prints on the screen. They are not really noticeable when the computer is on; however I can see many many smears and print with the computer off.

What would be the best way to safely clean the screen.

I have tried using some pre-moistened lens cleaning cloths that I use with my other laptop, psp, etc... but it seems to be only removing about half the print and smearing the other half.

I was just wondering what other solutions people have used to clean their screens that have had good results.

Thanks for any help ! :)

I use the same wipes I use for my eyeglasses. I get them in little packaged wipes in a box of 500 from Costco.

Yup thats actually what I am using as well, except the ones from Wal-Mart Optical. I think the brand is Zeiss or something similar.

I wasnt sure about the black cloth that came with the notebook. On the images that was in the package with the wipe, it looks more like it is to be used to wipe the glossy black outer casing of the notebook, not the screen.
