does anyone have the above problem? Recently did the change to 64 bit Vista Home Premium for my tx2000. Updated to SP1. Most of the software and driver installations went well, except for the wacom drivers tat provide the pen and touch capabilities.

I tried the 2 wacom drivers on HP's site (for tx2000, SP38191 and Sp39280), and Wacom's drivers as well (PenTablet 505-7 and 508-6, for graphire/bamboo series). But after installation, the moment i tried using the pen or touch, vista will tell me, "Wacom Touch Service for HP has stopped working", and I wouldn't be able to use my fingers. The pen still works ok though....

Another thing is I cannot calibrate the touch: nothing happens when i touch the crosshairs. Pen calibration works.

Anyone experienced the above before, and has found a solution?

delete the preference file and re install the driver..

that usually cleans out any old references and fixes some problems created with HPs wacom drivers with the touch screen.

Where is the preference file? is it settings.dat under C:\program files(x86)\Tablet\Pen?

edit: Found it, the preference file that was being referred to can be deleted by going to start->all programs->Pen Tablet-> Tablet Preference File Utility.

Did you ever find the answer to this? I am having the exact same problem (with the exact same crash dump and everything) on a tx2500z.
