What do you think of current (2184) ntrig drivers...

    Features:

    -only two touch points

-high CPU usage, click many times on screen, cpu usage will raise to 60% or more

-ghost clicks cause of high cpu usage

-touch stop working from time to time, only solution, put your tablet to sleep and bang! Touch comes to life again

The ntrig device suports 10 touch points but the driver does not enable it.

Do you think next drivers will come with 10 touch points?

I think that 4 touch points is the best we can expect from ntrig...

The new driver is crap. Half the time touch doesn't work, high CPU usage, unreliable.

Yeah I'm experiencing the same let down,
Touch randomly shuts off, upon reboot I have to re-run the "Touch Tuning" Reset.

I'm always looking at the option to "Eject Duosense" as a USB device in the taskbar.

If you ask me, I think N-trig screwed this up pretty good, and I (optimistically) expect to see fully functional drivers out within the month.

    Edit-
Frustrated, I uninstalled the drivers and devices from my system via device manager, rebooted, uninstalled N-trig's Software bundle, rebooted...

Then reinstalled the Windows 7 RC (2.59) Software package.

MUCH MUCH Better. I'll stick with the RC beta than this Alpha-esque garbage.

Not sure what the rules about distributing this are... (Here on these boards or Legally in general)

But if it's okay/legal I'd be more than happy to host both versions (32/64 bit) of the package on my website and link here.

I´d never used 2.59. Only 2.184, and Im afraid that if I downgrade to 2.59... maybe the next update won´t work...

We never know what bugs awaits while downgrading ntrig drivers...

They could at least, put an ETA, show some dignity ntrig :D

Play a game... touch stop working... go to sleep, turn back on, and its working again...

Moving files... touch stop working... go to sleep... blah blah blah...

Using any painting soft... touch stop working... go to sleep... now im really tired...

Using IE8... touch stop working.... ntrig should go to sleep...

BTW, that´s a multi...hear that ntrig? multiple choice poll, so you can choose more than one option :)

Yea, I only have two touch points, gets pretty hot, high cpu usage, and I got the zm-87 processor. I contacted HP about the two touch points, and they said that it should support more than two, and that they are working on the issue. Also, did anyone purchase the tx2 recently? I did, and for some reason, my touch smart doesn't have hulu or netflix, and again HP said, they're looking into it and will let me know, does anyone have the same problem?

Will post once I hear from them.

To all users who only have two touch points working on the tx2z. Contact HP and let them know. They said they don't know why its not working for some laptops, but people are having this issue, they will replace...at least they did with mine. I know other people with the tx2z, an older (before win 7 release) and newer version (after win 7 release), and both have more two touch points. I bought mine after win 7 release, so they replaced, no guarantee if they will replace yours, but if a lot of people complain, they might work out a fix instead of sitting on their ass and issuing a new one.

ntrig release notes clearly states 2 touch point at this moment.

Only older and beta driver support more than 2 points.

Just check your firmware and driver version and report back, please.
