    Hi~
I exchanged my hp tablet because one of the buttons wasnt working..
    but now its even worse!
The touchscreen isnt working at all.........
it doesnt respond to the pen, and it doesnt respond if i poke it with my nail or finger...
is there a key to disable the touchscreen function or something??

Has anyone had this problem before??
any suggestions are greatly appreciated :)

I don't know of any option to turn on/off the touch function, but perhaps someone else can confirm that.

In the meantime, is it possible that when you exchanged it they gave you a non-touchscreen model instead of a touchscreen one? Look at the little white tag on the bottom of your tablet -- it should have the specific model number next to the words 'service tag'.

I was thinking the same thing, they might have ripped you off by giving you the non-touchscreen version. However, if they gave you the pen, I don't think they would cheat you like that...

    Check the graphics card drivers?

I know a recent update made the touchscreen only work with part of the screen, but your problem doesn't sound the same.

I agree with the other two, though it might be a fault on HP's part.
