Maybe that's why HP went with a small fan on the x2 1011.

Ouch, no dice on the color gamut, specially for the price. Hell, even the Yoga RT has better color gamut and calibrated display. I guess this may drop the Z20t lower on my list, and bring the SP3 higher. :-\

I would say the warmness is noticeable and sometimes, just sometimes, it's slightly distracting (such that I feel like I need to move my hand to a different position).

Anyone heard an update on the wt20? Toshiba has a listing for a wacom pen that supposedly works with both models. Still hoping to get one of these sans kb.

Where did you hear there is a digitizer in the wt20 (slate only, no keyboard version of the z20t)? I had heard otherwise.

But I'd bet that you just rarely touch the device at that area, at least if you're left-handed. In Notebook mode, the dock is on your lap which is not hot at all. Just if you are using the tablet alone, you need to Touch it there and only if you are holding with both hands it instead of lying it down. Is this assumption correct?

By the way, mine has shipped today. So exited...

Yea, in terms of creating the ideal thermal environment for maximizing the Core M processing potential, Asus did a good job.

For many of us though, it doesn't matter nearly as much as form factor and additional functionality (like the Wacom digitizer). For my uses where maximizing processing potential is important, I need to truly maximize it (by going to my servers or possibly getting some cluster time).
