Well I've been looking all over the net for RAM and HDD. I've found a couple things, but i don't know if its compatible. Is there anything specific i should know prior to actually purchasing something that may void my warranty.

For a HDD check if it is SATA and 2.5 inch , then it probably (almost always) fits and works. On the back-side remove 2 screws and you have full access.
For a RAM, check your current and buy some of the same speed! (yes it's that easy)(ofcourse you need notebook-ram, not normal, those won't fit). Opening the M7 is quite easy:
Above the keyboard is a plastic strip, carefully remove it, (use the 2 notches in de corners). After removing you will see 2 screws behind it; remove them using a screwdriver, now you can flip the keyboard: Under the keyboard are an additional 2 screws , remove those, and you have full access to your RAM.
