Pardon my ignorance if I've missed this but why it says 1800 uses, does that mean the first 1800 people that use it?

I'm assuming it means every time someone redeems it for 300 off. I've used it twice myself. One on a system I canceled and then on my last order.

Congrats! The coupon was the reason I bought as well. Wow, look at all the people just here that have bought this thing. It pisses me off to no end that HP doesn't try to sell these things harder. I mean they've got to make pretty good money off these devices vs. a crappy netbook and they push the heck out of those.

Thanks so much for posting this coupon code. The $200 off HP had + this $300 coupon meant I got mine for $1,004.97. I'm really excited.

A less than 3lbs netbook and a close to 5lbs convertible laptop, which I still can't justify how could they call it ultra-portable, serve very different purposes and different market and a big cost difference. I have both and they can't replace each other completely.

Actually the weight of a base config of the tm2 according to a post in the tm2 thread is about 4.5 pounds (he weighed it, maybe he's a little of) and it is NOT classified as an ultra-portable on HP's.

My point wasn't to market tablets to netbook buyers, it to market the tablet PERIOD.
