From googling I have found thick (as thick as original) ones https://www.makeuseof.com/tag/apple-pencil-alternatives/ It's a pipe dream to be able to get a toothpick apple gen 1 but what is the next thinnest / lightest apple pencil gen 1 compatible and work with the ipad mini 5?
Pure pipe dream. Any active non Pencil stylus won’t work as well as the pencil itself. And they all require a power source and the size to facilitate that. The only ones thinner then the Apple Pencil would be a non active stylus....like a Pogo Sketch or something. (If they even make those anymore)
