@HionHiFi Correct. The Best Buy model has a 940M, but I'm asking about the Lenovo store version. I'm trying to confirm that the version sold at Lenovo.com does not include the discrete GPU.

Thanks both. I haven't run the battery all the way down yet.

From what I've seen the Lenovo site version doesn't offer the 940m as an option yet, so no idea how much it will $$$ when it is available either.

One thing I suspect is that the BB model may use some plastic in its casing while the 460 on the lenovo site likely uses magnesium / aluminum and/or fiberglass reinforced composite. My thinking is the weight difference 3.8 (460) vs 4.1 (BB) pounds. Also the lenovo thinkpads are likely mil spec tested and tougher than the 'consumer' thinkpad sold at BB.

I also wonder about the screen brightness... if you look at the broadwell Yoga 12 for example the screen brightness is well over 300 nits but the BB model seems to be in the 250-280 nit range at best. which makes me wonder if they might use a higher end panel in the 460. No real reviews out of the 460 with screen brightness that I could find yet though so just speculation.

I could get behind all these theories. The screen quality of my BestBuy "460" while not horrible, looks pretty washed out / greenish hued compared to my Yoga 260 I purchased from lenovo directly. I know they are different sized panels anyways, but the screen quality really doesn't have very good color reproduction compared to what you'd expect.

Agreed that the BB screen is not the best, especially when compared to the likes of the Surface Pro and the consumer Lenovo Yogas.
