yes. with the exception of the 14" lcd, the Yoga 370 seems superior in every other way and for me, the ability to upgrade the ram stick is a huge feature.

@Yao (Haswell & Broadwell) Thinkpad Yoga 12, the old models without a three-digit number - are EMR. Thinkpad Yoga 260 (Skylake) and 370 (Kaby Lake) are AES.

Is it really possible to add WWAN antennas to the Thinkpad X1 Yoga 2017?
The whole thing looks so compact. You have to take apart the screen I guess. Have they already posted the maintenance manual for the new X1 Yoga?

@monkey13 there is a WWAN version of X1 Yoga, so it's definitely possible. Fitting WWAN & WiGiG together will be trickier, though - and will require smaller antennas.

Can we DIY install WWAN antenna in the laptop body (not in the screen body)?

@xor01 you can, but the reception will likely be bad, especially when used as tablet. I would not recommend it.

You never see discounts like this AND so early in Europe... :( We usually only pay a lot more, rarely get any discounts, the only upside is (usually) longer warranty...

There is a ~12% discount on lenovo's Swiss website at the moment.

BTW, they list a 2.5" option for the SSD. I thought this model only had the M.2 pcie form factor?
