Yes. Now that you mention it, I looked closer and it does look like it's actually a trackpoint.

I used to get made fun a lot when I had my X220t and TPY12 about the trackpoint during 1st year of medicine in lectures. They would often equate it to a female part. I just found it more efficient to use than the trackpad when I was typing!

The optical trackpoint on the TPT2 was not great. It was very frustrating to use.

You know the more and more I think about this tablet and the modules... Why couldnt they include a supercap pen inside a silo in the productivity module?

Come on Lenovo! MAKE THIS !

Knowing med students I think they were thinking of something different, especially considering how you interact with it.

Twitter is to communications as haiku is to literature.

Good idea but as always any kind of product has his somehow "minor disadvantages"
Nobody wants to become perfect :p

Do we know If the keyboard is backlit or not as I don't heard/read anything until now

I assume there's no planned module that's a hinged keyboard to make this a proper replacement for the Helix line and make this a competitor to the Surface Book, is there?

Helix is different kind of product from Lenovo.
This is not successor to Helix 2.

We have to wait when Lenovo will upgrade Helix line.

Helix will deliver Intel Core CPU and not Core M as this device.

Unless Lenovo change the strategy and not deliver successor of Helix 2.
Until summer will probably know what's going to happen.

As competitor to Book is Yoga Thinkpad that been announced few days ego.

Okay, thanks. I had read that since the Helix wasn't mentioned at all, it's likely they are discontinuing that line. But, this is Lenovo we're talking about, so I doubt anyone in the public really knows what's being planned or not.
