For approximately the same amount of money you get 8 GB of RAM and 192 GB SSD (assume it is 200 GB and system takes up 8 GB) in Japan. It seems to be available at all major outlets like Bic Camera, Yodobashi, Yamada Denki, Kojima and so on.

Well after Japan and South Korea hope next 1-2 weeks to see it available in other markets too.
Unfortunately in Germany there's only pre order the version with LTE,WiGi docking station and 8/256 or 16/512 that I'm not interesting at all.

The m5/4/128 just meet my need absolute perfect.
One think I can upgrade is the storage to Samsung 950 Pro PCIe 256gb.

I hope not delayed further than mid of March and see more hardware configuration option for order not only the high end version.

    For what?
If you are using VM's and big pictures/Videos, the memory could become a problem.
    Otherwise it's a good balance.

    Sorry my bad,
I meant the configuration related to the price.
As most probably I would not use it for any intensive work

Anyone knows when this tablet is available in US? Asian pricing looks outrageous...

That's quest fair money for the hardware configuration choice.
After all we are talking among the most premium device out there among other with many advantages.

Thinkpad series always been premium for the money asking for and delivers high quality in every level.

    Most possible within March.
You know with Lenovo never know for sure:p

Pricing in the U.S.is more palatable, only about 60% of Asian prices. As for when? No one knows, probably not even Lenovo.
