Hey, I’ve just received my ThinkPad Helix (N3Z6NUK), unfortunately this doesn’t have pen support. I didn’t know this before I bought it because it’s not listed very clearly on the website and now I can’t return it either. Does anyone know if the bamboo-stylus works on it (with sensitivity)? Or any other pens?

    Thanks

All Lenovo Helixs have stylus support.

The Helix has its own stylus. Try using that first.

Edit: Different countries don't offer the same thing.

Hmm, HELIX CAME WITH NO PEN!!? - Lenovo Community

I have the same problem, the place where the pen should be just has a little placeholder. I've tried it with a surface Pro pen and that didn't work either. I'm not sure if there's a difference between UK and US models... It does look different on the website.

ThinkPad Helix Convertible Ultrabook Laptop & Tablet PC | 11.6” with Windows 8 | Lenovo (US) all models seem to have Digitizer and Pen
ThinkPad Helix Convertible Ultrabook Laptop & Tablet PC | 11.6” with Windows 8 | Lenovo (GB) 11.6" FHD Multitouch instead...

It's not clear enough on the shop, but in the following PDF file (http://www.lenovo.com/psref/pdf/tabook.pdf), there's clearly models that don't support the digitizer. I've tripled checked my model supported it before ordering a month ago, and now I'm posting my first message with my AZERTY Helix (delivered today). :')

So I guess that the UK got a downgraded version.

In the US , all models sold on Lenovo's site support touch and stylus.

Geez, couldn't they have marketed these as 'Helix Touch' and 'Helix Pro'? It's like they're actively trying to confuse people..

I'm now stuck with this Helix with no pen support. So I was wondering if anyone knew a pen (like the bamboo-stylus) that would work on it.

    Thanks

Can't you return it and order one with pen?

I'm pretty sure the models without the stylus are missing the digitizer. At least that's how it is with the Thinkpad Tablet 2. I mean, why waste money on a digitizer component if it's not needed.

Sucks that they're doing this though. Should be made very clear in the product listing.
