I think I want a Fujitsu 5000 series slate, despite their expense.

I think I would want one as cheap as possibly. (but with the 915 video..)

Is PortableOne a good place to buy from? They say they can ship relatively quickly. Is there anything I want to buy with it (optical drive.. keyboard... memory..battery... warranty..harddrive)

Also, what is the difference between 30, 31, 32 and a D or not? (besides 31 has a smaller screen).

I have two custom builts at home (one 1 year old, one almost 4) and a laptop (Quantex 1330, almost 8 years old).

    From what I can tell:

5xxxx: Uses Intel Centrino wireless chipset (needed to complete the trifecta and make the product Centrino certified, but no other difference I know of)
5xxxD: Uses Atheros SuperG wireless chipset (with turbo mode in case you use a router with that special 108mbps mode)

    5030x: Baseline 12.1" screen setup
5031x: 10.4" screen instead of 12.1" screen, 60GB/512MB memory standard
    5032x: Bluetooth, 60GB HD/512MB memory, indoor/outdoor display standard
(It seems Bluetooth can be added to the 5030x though, so I'm not seeing any permanent difference between the 30 and 32?)

And from what I can tell on this and many other forums, PortableOne is perhaps even preferrable to the manufacturers themselves as a place to buy from. YMMV
