This Costco deal looks pretty tempting! I have a Surface 3 right now so kind of tempted to upgrade, my question is does anyone who has used both devices know whether the battery life on the mix 700 is any better? Would hate to get it only to find it doesn't last as long as the Surface 3

I have both. Surface 3 will definitely last longer. I'm getting just over 6 hours with Miix 700 but I've been leaving it on High performance (to prevent Photoshop brush lag) so on lower settings maybe 7 o 7.5 hours. I get over 8 hours on the Surface 3. It's close enough that I won't miss the Surface 3. I've trying to sell it for the last week but no takers on Craigslist.

    Hello

I have trupens from my Encore Write 2, but would like a bigger device.

Would these work with the Miix or would I still need to get the dynapad pen?

Unfortunately, no the E2W TruPen won't work on the Miix. The good news is that I ordered a new Thinkpad Pen Pro the other day and it performs more consistently than the version I bought back in July, 2015. I still prefer the softer nib on the dynaPad TruPen, but the performance is virtually identical.

Thanks, that's a shame. Would the E2W pen be usable on anything else?

I have a bunch of nibs for it, would they be usable with a dynapad pen?

Does your newer thinkpad pen pro still have the short, recessed nib?

I haven't tried exchanging nibs. The new pen has a very slightly more exposed nib.

Do you have a photo comparing the two pro pens? I'm not sure if mine is the newer or older one. But the tip does seem recessed on the one I purchased from CDW.

    I'll post one tonight.

The difference is very subtle. When I bought the first one last year, it was called the Lenovo Active Capacitive Stylus.

Thanks in advance. If you think it's less than 1 mm, no pict needed.
