My first laptop was an NEC LT-2 it had two 3.5" floppy drives and blue on green LCD with no backlighting. It ran DOS 2.something I believe.

That wasn't a laptop - that was a super computer compared to the T1100 Plus...

Sounds like the NEC Multi-Speed I had right after the T1000 (which replaced the T1100 Plus)...

I was working at a non-profit at the time and I had the second laptop in the office... that was Spring of 1995, my first computer was a TI-99/4A back in 1980 :)

Well, since we're playing true confessions, my first was an Timex-Sinclair kit, with memory sidecar (even worse, followed by a PCjr)

We played hours and hours of Frogger on that Sinclair. Still have it at my Dads house.

    Only 50+?

We get these hot shot Hollywood execs and the like who buy a super sports car and think it comes with a speed limit exemption.

Then again, I didn't know that the Prius was lawful in West Texas.

anything and we sure could not return anything ...I won't use the verb or
    an adjective lol.

I hope this hasn't been discussed ad nausem just yet, but regarding the graphics issue I feel need to interject. Based on Anandtech's thorough benchmarking the SP3 still pulls ahead of the SP1.

This is significant! You are getting a larger, thinner, and more pixel dense display that still outperforms the SP1. This means just as the SP1 was a digital workstation powerhouse, so TOO should the SP3 be!

So it can't play Titanfall as well as the SP2? Who cares, it'll still play it!

I don't see how the graphics prowess of the SP3 is a negative at all.

The only really negatives to me are the type cover (needs to stiffer, and the trackpad needs to be seriously stellar), and the lack of wacom. Both are things I can live with. Still in my particular situation, and after owning both the SP1 and 2, I'm going to wait for the broadwell variant to be released.
