I'm using that one (HP Active Pen). Not the best but it works
If anyone needs another confirmed compatible USB C charger, I can confirm the RAVPower 36W dual USB C charger works to charge my Spectre x2 while powered on.
I bought it from Amazon where it's currently $9.99: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0778JNN4B
I gave this a try. I did a clean install with the Windows 10 build 1709, then let Windows Update install all the available drivers and updates. Still nothing with the IClever charger. I guess I'm just the unlucky one that will never have a travel-friendly charge option for this device.
Have you heard any more on this firmware update?
Hey guys, I've just bought a refurbished m3 version of the Spectre, I've run all the Windows latest updates, but I'm having trouble with the keyboard after putting the device to sleep - when I wake it up, the keyboard becomes unresponsive, only the touchpad works.
I've tried hibernation - no problems, everything working fine. Any ideas ?
And one more thing - do you know if I can make the keyboard backlight turn off after a period of time? It just stays..
I can't believe my tablet is still up and running
Had to replace the battery as mine would only hold 30% or so
Now i just bought a new motherboard to upgrade the memory: from M3 4gb to M7 8gb here i go
Feb 2016: $450 - x2 Spectre M3 4gb - bought defected on ebay under warranty. it was a nightmare to get a new one from hp
Jul 2016: $240 - 512Gb M.2 PCIe SSD
Dec 2017: $15 - new battery
Feb 2018: $130 - M7 8Gb Motherboard (nothing wrong with current one btw)
My biggest regret was not going for 8gb. will never buy another windows tablet with less than 8gb
backlight: press F5
there is a recent update
Have you experience any ghost touches while charging with it. I'm using https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B07896DMCP? but I just noticed them. First time using it while pluged in.
Just FYI for others' benefit , I ordered the ZeroLemon 20,100 mAh power bank which has a 45 W USB C PD output which supports 12V @ 3 A.
It's able to charge the x2 easily.
You just have to hold down the power button so the power bank supplies power to the laptop instead of vice versa
Also, if you're looking for a cheap hub , the HooToo USB C hub on Amazon works perfectly fine with it.
What about BIOS F.29, can it support any 3rd party charging or do I have to downgrade the BIOS version?
