I dare not to do this, cuz some are already damaged, every time i open it and found more hooks are broken

you can look at the picture on
    http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c04850251
    Page 11 Image 1

those hooks are made of plastics and weak, you will likely over bend it and break those small plastic hooks if you don't aware how fragile they are.

Hey guys. Just wanted to share that I was able to get 3rd party charging working (laptop turned both on and off).
    Details:
    Spectre x2 12-a002dx (ENERGY STAR)
    BIOS F.28
Wiped clean, installed Windows 10 build 1709 and let Windows Update install drivers.
Anker PowerPort 5+ with PD (power delivery) + Belkin SS10 two-way USB-C cable.

Unfortunately, connecting two computers using the aforementioned cable to get bidirectional file sharing over USB still won't work on part of the Spectre.

Also, I haven't been able to get the RealSense R200 camera to work. If anyone is willing to help me figuring it out, let me know so I can provide more details on what I'm experiencing with it.

Does any1 know if this Spectre X2 (2015) will work with 400gb Sandisk Micro SD card?

Or what is the max supported micro SD card? As I dont see anywhere mentioned this...

I just tested and can confirm that a MacBook USB C charger can charge my Spectre x2 on both F.27 and F.28.

Could anybody upload f27 or f28 bios files with .sig (signature file) i cant reinstall or downgrade my bios for this reason.

By the way i cant install intel management engine and it does not shown at device manager after intel sa 000086 update. Does anybody know how to activate it?

So has the only-uses-the-HP-charger situation been resolved? I need to make a new purchase and it looks like it will be between a Spectre X2 12 and a Latitude 11 (?). If you can now use third party chargers and external batteries, I'll probably go with the x2 12

Perusing this thread it looks like the third party charger situation is touch and go. Right? With this in mind, I've gone with the Elite x2 12 1012 G1. I'm having cold feet though, since the Spectre x2 12 looks to have a much better camera for video conferencing, and I plan to use the device to record Office Mix presentations. and the like.

I'm unsure if third party active pens are even supported -- although everyone says the HP ones malfunction, you should probably go with the stock one ("HP Active Pen").

PS. It seems the TPM on all Spectre x2 models is temporarily disabled in Windows. We're expecting a firmware update on 22 December that will fix a security issue and make it available/"compatible" again.
