The M7 does have a PCMCIA card slot.

Bottom post on the previous page of this thread, the sonic RecordNow stuff. It should be in the start menu. I don't have an M7 so I don't know exactly how to do it. (Damn you americans getting them first!)

Where is the compartment for the emergency pen? I ordered the emergency pen as an option and haven't found a place to store it. I also spoke with Toshiba support and they don't have a clue?

There should be little clips along one side of the battery compartment... so you clip the reserve pen in there, and then put the battery back in place beside it.

This seems pretty good, but I have 2 main concerns.
2 hours + 30 mins seems too short for me. What options are there or upgrading the battery? And how does the battery fare with features turned off?

Also, how is the form factor. The widescreen is very tempting, but is it awkward to hold or carry around at all? Does it feel bulky at all, or does it feel sleek?

I just started playing with mine on Saturday...

With power-saving settings turned on (lower CPU speed, brightness turned down, etc.) I get well over 3 hours on the main battery. I think if I really went nuts disabling things, I could push it to 4.

...not that I usually work away from an outlet for that long. If I do, I've got the slice (which by the way is quite nice, doubles battery life, and doesn't add a whole lot of weight... better than I thought).

How did you get 15% off the accessories? Where do you register?

Thanks. Personally, I really want good battery life so I guess I would be better off with the M400 or an equivalent tablet.
