    Hi,

I am a newbie from Malaysia.

I have a TC4400 t7200 (2GHz), 80gb HDD, 2gb Ram. Its running great though I would like to upgrade to a larger size HDD, increase the memory and also upgrade the processor. Since I bought this unit quite cheaply, I could justify spending the money.

I read in this forum the processor can be upgraded to T7600 which I would be happy to do. But yesterday I was offered an Intel Core2 Duo T7700 SLA43 2.40/800/4M Socket P OEM at a cheaper price than T7600.

Can any members here tell me if this would be compatible with my laptop?
Another question is would a t7800 (2.6) also be compatible?

I would grateful for any feedback on this.

    Thanks in advance

Just take a look at FSB spped. 800mhz processors are not compatible with intel 945 chipset.

T7600 is the fastest one with 667mhz bus.
