Hello, I'm quite worried, I'm looking for a tablet, and i liked the tc4200 alot. Now, will hp make this notebook available in Europe? Anyone has an idea about this?

    Hi piranjah,

The UK would be no problem. Are you in eastern Europe? I am sure there are resellers there, but you may have pay a lot more. Please let us know where you are, we have contacts in Prague and the UK...

Generally HP models should be everywhere within a few months. The tc4200 hasn't been shipping for very long in the US yet.

Hello again, thanks for replying so fast.
I'm from Belgium. I was worried because of this article:
    http://www.vnunet.com/news/1161001
(do a search on "europe" and you know why I'm worried :( )
I'm torn between several models  , I really like the HP, but if they don't release it on the European mainland I'll probably go for the X41t. Also, I've send this question to HP themselves, but with no reply yet.

Ahh. Hang tight on your email to HP. They will probably take a couple of days. We will have the X41 in a few days, so you will see our "First Look" and review on that one soon. ;)

Must say I'm happy:) Yeah, I know the X41 will be available soon, (and dear god am I going to be torn apart by these two:)) But somehow I'm leaning towards the HP, I've got experience with them, printers, digital camera, scanner,... and IBM is quite hard to find here imho. Anyway, just wanted to notify you guys:) I'm back hitting the books now :(

Good news, so about two months from the US release, not bad.

uhu, only question remains the price.
But it seems like the perfect notebook to use @ skool.
We make state diagrams, flowcharts, class-diagrams etc and program C++/java, nothing to graphical, some low-level openGL, but I think the gmc can handle this. Currently running netbeans 4.1 on a pIII 1 ghz notebook, now that's horror:)
