I bought a Toshiba Tablet PC off ebay which came loaded with Windows 7 Ultiimate Evaluation Copy for tablet and I'm having trouble getting it to recognise a usb data transfer cable from my Desktop PC running Vista. I've connected dvd drives and other hardware to the tablet's PC and it recognises the devices. Is there a driver I need to load for the cable to be recognised? Thanks.

I would expect it to be recognized when plugged in, but maybe Vista doesn't have the driver. Go to the manufacturers website and see if the driver is available there to download.

Do you mean the usb manufacturer. It didn't come with any drivers attached and is basically plug and play. They tried it in the computer store and it worked ok, between a usb hard drive and the computer. If you meant the driver for Vista my apologies. Should I download it from the Windows wesbite.

No, I meant the manufacturers website... sorry for the confusion. Are you able to use any other usb devices in the port?
