Hi guys! I'm currently looking for a little addition to my workspace (or more like something to be able to change my workspace to the couch or a coffee shop..or in general: to not be tied to my desk at home). Like probably everyone starting a thread, I'm super confused by now and I just dont know where to start or end my search.
Here is my list. Big thanks in advance!!

    General Questions.

    1. What is your budget?
around 1200€..of course the less the better! I'm still a student and this is going to put a big hole in my savings. But I just can't deal with only sitting at home anymore.

    2. Would you consider purchasing used/refurbished?
    preferable new

    3. Do you prefer a media/mobile tablet like the iPad, Windows tablet PC, or notebook convertible?
Tablet PC or convertible. As long as I can make it "flat".

    4. What size Tablet PC would you prefer?
at least 13-inches, but I prefer 15", if that's possible (I will take a look in the store tomorrow)

    5. Which country do you intent to purchase from [where do you live]?

    6. Do you have any preferences to brand loyalty or dislikes?
    Not at all.

    7. How many hours battery life do you require?
4-5 minimum would be fine. But that's not that big of a deal for me.

    8. What will be the primary usage scenario of this tablet? (Email/Web Surfing/Drawing/Word Processing/Entertainment/Notetaking etc)
3D Modeling and especially sculpting: Z-Brush (most important), 3ds Max, some texturing in Substance Painter for now.
2D Painting in Photoshop (also very important)
basic music playing and web surfing of course

-> I want to be able to do that away from my desk. I have a desktop Pc which handles everything super nice.
I need this new device to be able to work a little outsite, or when visiting the family over the weekend. So it should handle Z-Brush nicely, but for the super intense stuff, I still have my Pc.

    9. Do you have an OS preference? For example, do you own an iPhone and a Mac, or are you a Windows fan? Do you own an Android device and use Google services frequently?

    10. What software and tasks do you intend to run? (Microsoft Office or other Word Processing Suite/Photoshop/3D Studio Max/Autocad etc)
Z-Brush, 3DS Max, Marmoset Toolbag, Substance Painter, Photoshop and InDesign is what I'm using most at the moment. It would be nice to also be able to use Marvelous Designer.

    11. Do you intend on playing Games? If so please list.
No. I have other devices for that.

    12. Would you like to stream content through your home theater system?

    Screen Specifics

    1. Any preference on screen resolution? Not really.

    2. Will you be using the tablet outdoors? Do you need to be able to see it through glare from the sun?
I would love to be able to use it outside, if I can afford it

    3. Do you require a pen? With or without pressure sensitivity? Do you prefer Wacom EMR, AES or N-trig?
Pen with pressure sensitivity (I have one for my old wacom bamboo, intuos 5 and Cintiq 21UX (which is the same as the Intuose one...I dont really know much about pens, so if I could use one of these- would be nice to not have to buy one additionally)

    Component Specifics

    1. What size Hard Drive and Memory do you require? Would you like expandable memory?
I dont really care about the HDD size - Memory 8+ (expandable would be nice)

    2. What sort of inputs do you require, if any? Would you like full-sized USB and SD card slots? Are microUSB and microSD ok? Do you require HDMI inputs?
At least one USB slot and one HDMI or DisplayPort/MiniDisplayPort slot

    1. Other non specific items ~ please add other items you require not covered above?

    2. Additional requests ~ anything other you wish to take into consideration?
For what I'm planning to do with it, would a i5 be enough? The jump to a i7 is always pretty intense.
