I have the Thinkpad X1 tablet 1st gen but I find too big and overkill. I like the 10" on the MS surface 1st gen. I've tried several sizes 7-12" but find 10-10.6" the sweet spot. I use an iPhone and a Windows PC, so the tablet can be either an ipad or windows 10 but WITH A PEN.

I want to sell the X1 tablet, it's just too overkill.

Refurbished Galaxy Note 10.6's are selling for around $300 - $350. Probably your best option in a 10" tablet. There is a new 10" surface coming that might be worth the wait.
