    1. What is your budget? $400 cad

    2. Would you consider purchasing used/refurbished? yes

    3. Do you prefer a media/mobile tablet like the iPad, Windows tablet PC, or notebook convertible? ipad/windows

    4. What size Tablet PC would you prefer?
    • 5 to7-inches
    • 7.1 to 10-inches I prefer 10" ( i had the surface gen 1 and it was great!)
    • 10 to 13-inches

    5. Which country do you intent to purchase from [where do you live]? Canada

    6. Do you have any preferences to brand loyalty or dislikes? none

    7. How many hours battery life do you require? doesn't matter

    8. What will be the primary usage scenario of this tablet? (Email/Web Surfing/Drawing/Word Processing/Entertainment/Notetaking etc) note taking using OneNote

    9. Do you have an OS preference? For example, do you own an iPhone and a Mac, or are you a Windows fan? Do you own an Android device and use Google services frequently? windows or iOS

    I have the Thinkpad X1 tablet 1st gen but I find too big and overkill. I like the 10" on the MS surface 1st gen. I've tried several sizes 7-12" but find 10-10.6" the sweet spot. I use an iPhone and a Windows PC, so the tablet can be either an ipad or windows 10 but WITH A PEN.

    I want to sell the X1 tablet, it's just too overkill.

    Refurbished Galaxy Note 10.6's are selling for around $300 - $350. Probably your best option in a 10" tablet. There is a new 10" surface coming that might be worth the wait.

    Settle for Cube i7 book and it's working very well. It is affordable windows tablet with a pen.
