Just got my X61... love it, except for all the crap that came on it. Well, I took off a lot of non-Lenovo junk, and now the buttons on the LCD, with the exception of the lockable power button, don't work... ESC, manual screen rotation, etc., although my screen still rotates automatically when I swivel the screen. I thought I didn't touch any of the Lenovo startup items, but I could have been wrong. Is there a program that needs to run to be able to use these buttons? Or a driver I could reinstall, perhaps?

    Thanks!

Did you not install the tablet shortcut drivers? That may be the problem. If you installed it, you can try running system update, and one of the downloads may fix your problem.

    edit: 100th post! woot!
