Thanks benjim. Any chance of relocating Sydney or Melbourne to the US? lol.
thanks for the info, benjim!
i'v just contacted a german online shop, they have one model type in inventory already
I'm planning to get a screen protector for my T901
benjim, could you please tell me the exact screen dimensions?
basically my question is whether the protectors for the T900 fit the T901 as well
Exact screen dimensions from bezel to bezel are 18.4mm across the vertical place, and 28.8mm across the horizontal. Please note, this includes a black border inside the bezel (i think that's what it's called), around the screen. Not including the border, the dimensions of the visible screen would be smaller.
It's amazing Australia gets this wonderful tablet before the yanks do.
Internationally-speaking I think Fujitsu is a really great company, I'm just happy to be on the same planet as them...
big thank you!
so far the only manufacturer specifying the size of the screen protector for the T900 i could find is Strong Engeneering:
One Screen Protector fits: Fujitsu T900 290mm x 182mm
This could mean that we would have to cut the T900 protectors a little bit
can anyone with a T900 post the size of the screen?
or even better: the size of the screen protector he/she is using?
would be great, thanks!
Screen is about 293.5 x 186 however, the black bands around the edges are about 3.5mm on all sides... therefore, the surrent screen protectors may fit. Check the measurements.
I've got my i7-2620M model now, and I ran the Windows Experience Score the first time and got 4.7. I tweaked the graphics settings for performance and got a 4.6! Back to 4.7 now thanks to the low Aero score. High numbers on everything else!
Interestingly I have found a couple of four finger gestures... so it seems the 5 point touch is there after all!
Four fingers, swipe down is the equivalent of win+tab keys.
Four fingers, swipe across is the equivalent of holding win+tab keys...
Also, search for touch on the start menu and go into the Wacom Touch utility called "Touch Settings." There is a new setting in there names "Enable Advanced Gestures." Wonder what else they are... there doesn't seem to be much documentation.
Can any of you guys who have the T901 tell me how it performs doing CAD work, or any other 3D application?
What's your pricing for the T901 here in Aus?
I'd be curious how you'd compare it to Lenovo X220T
Hi findbuddha, i'd rather not go in to pricing etc here as i'm not here to advertise. Best to contact us through the website or phone for that.
Personally although thinkpads are high quality machines, I usually find it hard to justify the much higher prices.
