Sometimes when I throw the switch either on or off, everything freezes, no track pad control, no keyboard inputs possible, nothing.

Anybody have anything like this happen to them?

    Thanks.

Have you tried to reinstall both the Bluetooth and Wireless driven?

Thanks for the reply: I think I first had the problem after reinstalling those exact drivers, so you may be on to something. Either that or maybe it's a short in or near the switch, I'm not sure if I haven't heard a small click right as I hit the switch - sort of an electric contact being made or broken but I couldn't get it to happen again.

I thought I might install Windows 7 when it's available and see if that changes things.

Well, I have Win7 installed and the hardware radio toggle works fine. Actually, Win7's Bluetooth implementation works far better than the old Toshiba driver that came with Vista.

Intesresting. I'd had a lot of trouble with the Tosheba Stack and/or the Sierra Wirleless stuff. I keep installing and reinsalling them and then getting beeps and and my device manager goes nuts saying it's found new hardware but it's not working etc. Since I don't use Bluetooth or 3G it all seems silly.

Stupid question: Windows 7 isn't out yet officially, is it?

    Thanks.

No Win7 is not out. It would be officially out on Oct 22. You cannot any longer download the RC but there is a limited number of downloads of the RTM and they would last for 3 months before expiring.

Not quite. Win7 was released to MSDN a few weeks back. The consumer release is Oct. 22

No error. The MSDN release has actually wider availability. And I do not see why not. It expires in 3 months.
