    Bhaltair,
Don't worry about fan noise on the T4215.... It simply does not exist.
Yes.... It is absolutely whisper quiet.
You won't be annoying any teacher or student with the noise.

You will however annoy them that you will have one simply drop dead lovely machine :)

Thank you :) I agree, it IS pretty. That's what caught my eye before reading more into it and seeing that the beauty isn't just skin deep...

It worried me when I saw the fan noise being compared to a Ford Truck starting...

    Hi there!

I just bought 1 gig Ram, so I have 1,5 gig Ram.

I will not buy Vista. I would like to have it, but it is way to expensive for me (like 250€ for upgrading to Vista Buisness). I bought my 4210 in August, so I am not participating in the "free upgrade" programm, unfortuately.

So I will stay with XP, and maybe, if a new Lifebook Tablet is released with Flash based HDD, maybe then I buy a Vista preinstalled System.

Also, nobody said there was a advantage with TABLET-funktions.

And I got another question. This new graphic eye candy, is this really better to work effectively?

It is a shame that I cannot upgrade to Vista for free.

The graphic eye candy is OK, but not a reason to buy. There are a LOT of other improvements in Vista including security, tablet improvements, voice recognition, real firewall, etc.
