    Hi there!

I have a big problem! I used the Recovery CD that came with the system, then I just installed some patches, programs etc., but when I wanted to go to tablet mode, I realized, that the screen did not rotate.
Also, none of the tablet buttons work! I tried all the button drivers and display drivers I could get.

Please, do you have any idea?

    Thank you for any support!

    EDIT:
Before using recovery, everything worked fine!

Hi! Thank you for your response,

I just recovered an image I created before, because I needed my Tablet working quick. That is why I cannot check the processes any more.

But I think they should had been there, because it was not the first time I used the recovery cd. The result this time was horrible.

My current working system features all processes but this one:
    C:\Program Files\Fujitsu\BtnHnd\BtnHnd.exe

Do you think these processes were the reason? I did not alter them. The recovery cd should have worked fine.

    ----------------------------------------------

Besides that, I am really disappointed, that there is just a recovery cd. I made 3 partitions, and the recovery cd just deleted them. I wished there was a "normal" Win XP cd with which I could do a "clean" installation of the OS etc.

BtnHnd.exe is the process that takes care of the hard buttons on the tablet, i believe.try and barrow a copy of winxp tablet edition. you own a legal copy so there are no legal ramifications.you Could try buying Just the media (cd only) online.

I just recovered that image with the non working tablet.

Again, as in the working one, I cannot find that file BtnHnd.exe.

Where do I get it regularly?

I purchased my System in Germany, if that helps.

    EDIT:

I also installed the latest chipset and graphics adapter drivers from the intel website. But I also did this with the working partition.
"System" tells me, I got two graphics adapters.

    Hi onesaint,
    Sorry I missed your post.
As to your enquiry, I've just had a bit of a shock......
I was checking out to make sure the answer for you would be 'No, don't terminate the processors when I suddenly realised the BtnHnd.exe did not exist on my T4210.
So... I went off into the registry in search and again, nothing showed up.

This is most strange, especially as I have it written down as one of the files (Button Handler) for the system.

Anyway, I did some further investigation and then BANG.... it hit me.
The BtnHnd.exe is only for the Fujitsu T4210. It's not provided with the Fujitsu Siemens T4210.

Do you have the file 'FjBtnSta.exe'
It should be located in C:\Program Files\Fujitsu\Utils\FjBtnSta.exe

Carter... is your T4210 a Fujitsu Siemens model.... If it's from Germany I would expect this to be the case and if so, no you won't find the BtnHnd.exe file

Fujitsu T4210 and fujitsu-siemens T4210 are not the same ?

What difference do they have (beside the name :p ) and how do we make the difference when look at them ?
